14–18 grams Espresso coffee beans
Measure out your 14-18 grams Espresso beans for a double shot.
Grind them really fine, preferably with a burr grinder.
Tamp the beans well and put the portafilter into its spot on the machine.
Pull a shot of espresso using your machine.
Fill a cup with water boiling at 70-75°C.
Slowly pour the shot of espresso into the hot water.
