Ingredients
- 25 gram Coffee
- 375 grams of Filtered water
- Filter
- 1 quart of vanilla ice cream
- 1 quart of chocolate ice cream
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar (as per your taste)
- 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings(optional)
- Maraschino cherries (optional)
Apparatus
- Pour over the coffee maker
- Mug
- Kettle
- Grinder
- Digital scale
- Timer
Step 1
Start by heating the water. Use a kettle for ease. Measure coffee using a digital scale and grind the beans to a medium-coarse consistency.
Step 2
Take a pour-over filter and place a filter inside it. Then pour water from the kettle over the filter in a circular motion. This step is done to remove any papery taste.
Step 3
Now place the pour-over coffee maker on a mug and add some coffee grounds to the filter.
Step 4
Start your timer and begin pouring water over the coffee grounds. Pour it in a circular motion. After a while, start the second pour.
Step 5
Your strong brew is ready. Let it cool.
Step 6
Now take a large punch bowl or a serving container. Add the chilled, strong coffee, milk, and granulated sugar to it. You can adjust the sugar as per your preference. Stir until the sugar is combined properly.
Step 7
Now take some vanilla and chocolate ice cream scoops and add them to the punch bowl. The ice cream will add creaminess in terms of taste.
Step 8
Keep stirring the mixture until the ice cream is half-melted and well combined with the coffee base. It must create a luscious and creamy texture.
Step 9
Now drizzle some chocolate syrup to enhance the flavor and create a beautiful swirl to the mixture.
Step 10
Place the coffee punch in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
Step 11
You can top it with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or maraschino cherry for a pop of color.
Conclusion
What makes it a showstopper is its simplicity and the ability to customize as per taste.
You can adjust the sweetness by decreasing sugar, experimenting with different ice cream flavors, or even adding a hint of your favorite drink for a change.
